It's a feature-driven release, so it will ship when ready. It's pretty much done at this point, but we're taking extra care with QA given the changes beyond what we can sequester with API versioning and the number of app users at this point.
QA on 2.0 got back-burnered while we've been developing some other API features for Netflix devices, which will eventually make it into the open API. These devices will also start to try out the 2.0 API which will work out some of the remaining bugs. Sorry I don't have a high-confidence date to share, as well as for the delay.
I am brand new to Netflix development. So I''m wondering can you tell us a brief summary of upcoming API v2.0 features?
Will the API allow developers to skip to a scene in the movie (in seconds) relative to the beginning of it? I hate to ask, but any idea on when it will be released?
Sorry to be the kid in the back seat but, are we there yet?

It's been over 6 months since V2 was supposed to roll out. Any news on it yet?
