and according to the API, the title expires Tue, 17 Nov 2009 08:00:00 UTC +00:00, which has already past by the time of this forum posting, but the title is still available for streaming.
I just looked at today's entry and this is what I see - available_until="1289980800" which seems to be Wed, 17 Nov 2010 08:00:00 GMT (this expires in 2010). Are you seeing the same value? Could you send us the data for this of what you have got?
I looked again at this, and it seems that this title "Jesus of Montreal" just got renewed. So previously it was due to expire from instant on 17 Nov 2009, and now it says that it's available on instant from 17 Nov 2009 to 17 Nov 2010.
This is fine, but it does seem counterintuitive to change the "available_from" date when the availability of an instant title gets extended.
Title available for instant streaming have expiration dates -- but what time exactly on the expiration date do the titles get pulled off instant?
I'm checking this title
http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Jesus_of_Montreal/60010517
and according to the API, the title expires Tue, 17 Nov 2009 08:00:00 UTC +00:00, which has already past by the time of this forum posting, but the title is still available for streaming.

Thanks for pointing this loss. I had an outdated value for available_until.
