How to create signature using Consumer key and shared secret

   Hi,
   I have a problem with generating signature. I have consumer key and shared secret key. But I am unable to generate the signature using them. And I am not able to get the token too. It says my account status is "waiting". Could you tell me what the problem is. And could you tell me how exactly to generate the signature and token and where exactly the token is used.
