I've had some users report that when a disc is lost in the mail: either from NF--> Home or Home--> NF, then that particular title continues to show up via the API as 'At Home'. In other words you are not purging that record from the at_home resource for that user or stamping a returned_date etc.
In each case, however that user's personalized RSS feed reflects this - ie the AtHomeRSS feed purges this record.
There seems to be a discrepancy between the personalized RSS feed data and the API data - is this a known issue? Do you think you might have a fix for this?
We are filtering movies marked lost from at_home movies. We were trying to determine if it is a caching issue. Do you see this problem go away after some time for these customers?
John, Anu, Micheal: FYI this bug seems to affect not just DVDs that are lost in transit but also those that have been reported unplayable or damaged and returned to NF. This definitely is an API issue as the RSS feeds are ok.

Hi Raghu-
The API is probably ignoring some flag it should be paying better attention to. We'll look into it. Should be a quick fix.

Good to hear Michael. If you can update this thread once it has been identified and fixed, that would be wonderful.

Micheal - this doesn't seem to be fixed yet. Can I bug your for an ETA on this?

@raghus: just to let you know we're maintaining a page of known issues at http://developer.netflix.com/page/Known_Issues.

John - thank you for pointing me to the Issues page. I wasn't aware of its existence.
Anu - no, I've got users for whom this persists for a week or more. I'll check more thoroughly and get back to you though.
